2021 FALL TOURNAMENT TEAM DETAILS
In recognition of fall sports participation by many of our athletes, we are planning to host a total of four 2-hour practice nights including a 1/2 hour optional shooting session at the end of each practice. The Fall Ball season will end with the Boo Bash in Oxford on Saturday, Oct. 30th.
Our Fall 2021 season will be a no-cut season with players placed on teams according to school, skill and graduation year until teams are full. Our goal is for every player with interest in off-season play to have a great chance to improve!
Practices: Sundays 3:00-5:00 PM, October 3, 10, 17 and 24 at Premier Sports Center (23 Mile Road, west of Hayes Road). Each session will include 1.5 hour training plus a half-hour optional shooting session for additional reps.
Tournament: The Boo Bash in Oxford, MI is a 1-day 7v7 or 8v8 event on Saturday morning/afternoon, October 30th or 31st. Latest schedule info can be found here: Boo Bash Tournament Fields are located at Seymour Lake Township Park (2795 Seymour Lake Road, Oxford, MI)

ASST. COACH DELAYNIE
Coach Delaynie plays midfield for Adrian College and played for Troy Athens High School. She looks forward to bringing her knowledge of offensive and defensive midfield play to our girls this summer.
Coach John is a US Lacrosse Certified Coach for Women’s Lacrosse and founded the Motor City Machine Lacrosse Club in 2018, coaching its youth and HS girls teams. Coach John played LSM and defense for DeLaSalle and MSU’s club lacrosse team 1985-1992 before coaching boys youth and high school travel teams for St. Lawrence and East Side Lacrosse from 2006-2017.
ASST. COACH LEAH
Coach Leah plays attack for Adrian College but played attack, midfield and defense at Henry Ford II High School. Coach Leah will be bringing her speed, aggressive play and new D3 Collegiate experience to our girls in the summer of 2021.
ASST. COACH KAYLA
Coach Kayla is a Junior at Adrian College and plays defense. An unfortunate injury sidelined her for most of the 2021 season but she is looking forward to returning to the field to help our high school summer teams improve on their ground balls, defensive stops and forced turnovers.
FALL/WINTER PROGRAMS COACH MADISON
Madison was captain of her Chippewa Valley high school team and assistant coach of the Machine’s U12 and U14 teams. She is a current player at Rochester College pursuing studies in the medical field.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What experience does my child need to play fall tournament lacrosse?
The requirements vary by age group with less experience being required at the youth levels vs. high school. That said, one of our program goals is to lift up the level of high school play in our area. As a result, we only require one year of experience in order to play and teams will be rostered and placed in tournaments according to team strength and/or school affiliation.
- When is the registration period?
Fall registration is open between mid-August and mid-September however teams may be filled before the registration period officially closes.
- What is included in the registration fee?
Player registration fees are intended to cover uniform costs, practice and training time charges, field usage fees, ref and tournament fees, equipment costs and coach stipends.
Travel costs including room and board (where applicable) are not included and must be accounted for by each player’s family. We will not be providing a team bus or chaperoned travel for our tournament events.

- Will the team be staying in the same hotel at distant venues?
We will notify everyone of individual tournament requirements for hotel reservations when tournament play is greater than 1.5 hours from our home field. Some tournaments will require we use certain properties. If not, we will establish a hotel property that will serve as our home base for the tourney but your stay there will not be mandatory. Please note that we believe camaraderie away from the field is important however our coaching staff will not be responsible for watching your player away from the field. Please plan to have an adult parent or guardian with your child during the tournament weekends.
