MACHINE BEGINNERS

If you are in elementary, junior high or high school, it is not too late to start playing lacrosse!

Join our Intro to Lacrosse program and find out how you can make a difference on your club or school teams in just a short time!

WHY NOT LACROSSE?!!

There is simply so much opportunity for athletes in the game of lacrosse that the only limits preventing you as a new player from entering the game are the ones you place on yourself!

YOU CAN DO IT!

Girls and Boys who want to try lacrosse before joining a spring team can enroll in one of our Introduction to Lacrosse sessions and then join the Machine’s training and team programs.

No experience or equipment is required! Sticks will be available for participants to use at the instruction. Beginner sessions are focused on the fundamentals of passing, catching, dodging and shooting and building confidence in each individual player.

OUR INTRO SESSIONS ARE A GREAT WAY TO LEARN AND ARE A PREREQUISITE TO TRAINING AND TEAM PLAY FOR ALL BEGINNING PLAYERS.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What experience and lacrosse equipment does my child need to participate in an intro to lacrosse training session?

None. Isn’t that great?

  • When is the registration period?

We hold our Intro sessions throughout the year but do not delay as there are limits to our indoor space and class sizes can be limited. You may also want to consider enrolling for the next possible session to be allowed to enroll in other trainings that may be held ahead of team play.

  • What is included in the registration fee?

Player registration fees include field usage fees, coach stipends, and equipment costs. Training/Practice pinnies are required to be worn and are sold separately for those who do not have one. Pinnies are good for all fall and winter training sessions.

  • How can I register my child?

Online registration can be completed via the registration link on this page.

  • How much are the registration fees?

Registration fees will vary for each offering dependent upon the number of hours and the type of training offered. The registration link will identify all charges associated with the training.
