MACHINE Spring Teams
2023 SPRING TEAM REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
Are you a beginning player who knows you want to play this spring & summer? Join the team!
SPRING SEASON INFO:
Teams: We are looking to host two girls teams this spring – a 4th-6th Grade (12U-10U) and 7th-8th Grade (14U-13U) grade team. We may combine ages further if there is interest and it will help us field a team. Spread the word!
Team Format: We will begin our Spring Season by offering two program options on Sundays at the PSC from 6:30-8:00 pm:
4 Introduction to Lacrosse Clinics on March 26, April 2, 23, 30
OR
7 Indoor Training Sessions on March 26, April 2, 23, 30 and May 7, 14, 21
Games: We know girls love to compete! As soon as we have enough players rostered at the 5-6 or 6-7-8 grade levels, we will look to schedule games with local teams and/or join an end of season tournament.
Indoor Field Locations: Indoor practices will be held at the Premier Sports Center in Shelby (north side of 23 Mile, west of Hayes). We will play indoors until our outdoor field is playable and conditions permit in late April.
Outdoor Field Locations: Once weather conditions permit and the outdoor fields are playable, we will either be playing at Iroquois Middle School on Romeo Plank Road, south of 22 Mile Road or at Macomb Corners Park which is located on the north side of 25 Mile Road just west of Broughton Road.
Team Communications: We will be utilizing email and the website for team communications. Once we have a team and game schedule, we will utilize the Sports Signup Play App for our scheduling and in-season communications. Any cancellations, additions and tournament communications will be done through email, the website or the app. Locations of all events will be identified with addresses having clickable links to Google Maps for family travel.
